2. Student analysis学情分析 2.1 Fundamental state基本情况

学生在初中及高一上期已经多次接触和理解,甚至运用过情态动词,因此对情态动词的用法已比较熟悉。只是本文中多处出现情态动词的不同用法,需要学生结合语境去加以理解,并争取能够比较灵活地运用。

2.2 Knowledge reserve知识储备

通过初中及高一上期的学习,学生对情态动词的用法已有所了解。加之,在本课时之前,学生又通过对短文的阅读理解和词句分析加深了对文中情态动词的理解。本课时的任务就是激活学生已有的相关知识,并综合归纳和理解运用相关情态动词。

5.2.1.1 Find out the use of modal verbs from the passage and group them according to the different uses.

5.2.1.2 Read the sentences and discuss how each of these modal verbs is being used in the situations. (---seeing exercise 2 on P5)

5.2.1.3 Fill in the blanks and find out the usage of modal verbs. 5.2.1.4 情态动词的语法特征(使用规则): ①情态动词后(除ought和have外)只能跟原形动词。

②情态动词(除shall/will外)没有人称和单复数的变化,即情态动词没有第三人称单数形式。

③部分情态动词具有原形和过去式,但其过去式并不都表示过去,有的仅表示语气更加委婉,有的表示可能性更小。
