单元教学活动1 Listen, think, ask and answer 教师上课打招呼后拿出一个比较怪异的东西(任何东西或动物玩具)问大家:“What’s this? What’s it like? What does it look like? It looks like a…”说这几句话时,教师应故意放慢语速,慢慢引导学生注意这些句型.教师让学生猜该东西像什么。不管大家是否猜出,教师最后都说出:“It looks like a (bee).”然后教师继续说:“In our daily life, we often see something very interesting and strange. Now please look at your books and check these things and ask your friends. What’s it like? What does it look like?”教师让学生两人一组先进行练习,相互说自己的想法,然后再集体一起来讨论这些东西像什么。 a) a bee

单元教学活动2 Listen, say and write
第二部分是听力练习。学生要根据听到的声音在每张图上标出顺序。教师可以采取让学生边听边猜测的形式给图标号。教师可以这样组织课堂:“Now let’s listen to some sounds. Please listen carefully and tell me what sound it is.”教师放第一个声音后问学生:“What does it sound like?教师在说这几句话的时候,可以加上身体动作,例如把手放在耳后,做听声音的动作,这样可以帮助学生理解这句话的意思,学生可以从上一部分的练习中,联想出该句的回答. “It sounds like a dog.”如果学生在回答时有困难,教师可以适当地引导. 教师先给出例子,然后再听每一个声音。同时,教师还要提醒学生在图旁边按顺序标上数字。排好序后,教师可以让学生练习这一句型.
单元教学活动3 Let’s play
第三部分是一个游戏。教师说:“Now let’s play a game. Here’s is a bag. I have some toys in this bag. I want one person to come to the front and put your hand in the bag and feel it and tell us what it is. Do you understand? Who wants to be the first one?”教师依次叫几个学生到前面来摸并说出是什么东西。教师应先把让学生说的句型写在黑板上,以便让学生套用句型“It feels like a…”说句子。教师等学生摸好后, 便问 “What does it feel like?” 学生可以套用句型说出 “It feels like…”学生玩一会儿以后,教师让学生做对话练习,并用对话进行适当的表演。
单元教学活动4 Look, ask and write 第四部分是问答练习。教师用消毒纸巾擦一擦手,并将事先准备好的面包拿出来问学生:“What is this? Yes, it’s bread. Do you like bread? Do you like sandwiches? Which do you prefer, bread or sandwiches?”教师先拿面包问学生,如果有学生回答:“I like bread.”教师说:“Good., you’ll have some bread today. But I like sandwiches. Who can tell me what kind of sandwiches you like?”如果学生说:“I like chicken sandwiches.”教师说:“Really? I can make chicken sandwich. Do you want to eat it? Now look, I’m going to make chicken sandwiches now.”教师从餐盒中拿出鸡肉对学生说:“Look, this is chicken. I’m going to put chicken between bread and then put some vegetable in it too.”然后教师再用面包夹住,说:“Yummy! You want some chicken sandwich. Now please have a try.”教师用西餐刀切一块给该学生。教师还可以说:“I can make many kinds of sandwiches. I can make cheese sandwich. I can make ham sandwich. I can make

egg sandwich…”教师可以让学生尝一尝自己做的三明治。师生互动后,教师指着书上的图说:“In this unit, we have many kinds of sandwiches. Guess what sandwich it is. Please write the correct name under each sandwich. Then tick the one you like best.”最后,教师问学生:“If you are going to make sandwiches for yourself, what sandwiches would you like to make? If you make sandwiches for your parents, what sandwiches would you like to make?”
单元教学活动5 Read and make 第五部分是造句练习。教师首先将事先做好的短语卡片拿给学生念,边念边让大家造句。在大家造句的基础上,教师让学生用每一个句型各造一个句子。之后,教师让两人一组念自己造的句子,看哪个句子造得好。
单元教学活动 6 Read, look and try
第六部分是教学生如何制作巧克力苹果。教师如果事先做好了一个巧克力苹果,就可以拿出来给大家看,并说:“Look, this is my chocolate apple. It’s very delicious. Do you want to know how to make chocolate apples? It’s very easy. Let me tell you. First you need some chocolate. You also need an apple.”然后教师按照书上描述的三个步骤说,最后问大家:“Do you understand? Now please look at your books and turn to page 35. Read the passage and see if you can fully understand this. Maybe after you go home. You can ask your parents to help you make a chocolate apple.”待大家读完后,教师可以让学生品尝自己做的巧克力苹果。
单元教学活动 7 Listen, ask and answer in pairs.
第七部分是微型对话。每个对话是两三句,比较容易记住。教师可以采取微型对话竞赛活动,比如,在一分钟之内,看哪个组能背诵下来。教师给记时间。每背诵一段,教师就给小组的同学记十分。如果时间不够的话,教师可以分成小组进行。让每个学生都有一次背诵的机会。之后,教师再让大家背诵第二、第三个对话。教师要采取一些措施,使背诵变得有意思。
单元教学活动8 Listen, look, read and answer
第八部分是阅读理解的内容。本篇文章意图让学生相互合作、加强团结。教师可以打一个比方。教师可以这样说:“If our eyes see a big apple, our mind wants to eat it. We open our mouths, but our hands need to help wash the apple. If our hands don’t help, maybe we’ll be sick. Right? Now please read this passage and you’ll find out what’s happening to our body parts.”教师让学生先自己阅读短文,并记下有哪些地方看不懂或不明白。学生阅读之后,教师还是提倡同学之间相互解决问题, 如有大家都不知道的、或有共性的问题教师再进行解答。
课后作业
请学生回家后在父母的帮助下做一个自己喜欢吃的三明治。同时,用所学的五个系动词的短语各造一个句子。
