浅谈东莞市城市轨道交通建设在城市经济发展中的作用

摘要：随着我国社会经济的快速发展,城市人口增长迅速,交通压力日益凸显,成为影响城市发展的一个重要因素。随着经济持续快速发展，城市化进程的不断加快，我国的城市轨道交通建设进入了快速发展时期。在各种城市交通方式中,城市轨道交通将成为各大城市发展的最重要的交通方式。

Abstract: With the rapid development of society and economy in our country, the city population is growing rapidly, traffic pressure is becoming increasingly prominent, has become one of the most important factors influencing the city development. With the sustained and rapid economic

引言：城市轨道交通是促进城市经济发展，改善城市生态环境、优化城市结构、实现城市可持续发展的关键。自2009年7月获得国家发改委批复后，东莞市跻身于全国城市轨道交通建设行列，但如何健康发展城市轨道交通，对处于经济转型升级中的东莞具有重要的意义。本文根据城市轨道交通本身的特点，就政府投资城市轨道交通建设对城市经济发展的作用进行分析与探讨。
1、东莞市城市的发展现状
1）城市地理位置及社会经济发展概况
东莞市位于广东省中南部、珠江三角洲东北部、珠江口东岸，北距广州50公里，南离深圳90公里，水路至香港47海里、至澳门48海里，处于穗港经济走廊中间，是广州与香港之间水陆交通的必经之地。以莞城为发展中心，以常平为东部次中心的广深铁路城镇带和以虎门为西部次中心的西部城镇带，构成了现状城镇发展的基本格局。
