Get a student to draw a picture of the robot Robin on the whiteboard before class;

Greet the students. Good afternoon,Class.

Duty report Step 2: Warming up

Briefly review what you learned in the previous units.

In Unit 2, we learned about shopping. Do you have a favorite place to go shopping? What can you buy there? Where can you buy clothes? Where does your family buy food?

In Unit 2, we learned about clothes that people wear around the world. (Show some pictures of people from different countries in different kinds of clothes.)What are these people wearing? Where do you think they are from? How do they look? Step 3:Learn and review some new words

Do you know any English words for parts of the body?

Point to your body and ask the class to repeat after you. Do this for:

hand,face,arm,leg,elbow,finger,foot(feet),ear,mouth, nose, head,… Step 4 Ask, answer and label

Point at the picture and then ask the students some questions about body parts

Let the students read the word for one of the body parts loudly Let the students keep repeating the words for the body parts in English. On the whiteboard, label the picture of Robin as they are saying the body parts so that the students can remember them easily.

Point to your eyes /ears /noses /mouths /arms /hands /fingers /legs /feet How many eyes /ears /noses /mouths /arms /hands /fingers /legs /feet do you have? What can you do with your eyes /ears /noses /mouths /arms /hands /fingers /legs /feet? Step 5:Listen:

Play the tape and let the students listen to it carefully

Then finish the questions of the textbook.

Step6: Games and Practice

Game A:Make one of the student stand in front of the class. Other

students say out one of the body parts (eyes /ears /noses /mouths /arms /hands /fingers /legs /feet) and then he or she show it or them to the class.

Game B:Let one of the student stand in front of the class. He or she

point to his or her body parts (eyes /ears /noses /mouths /arms /hands /fingers /legs /feet).and then other students say it or them out.

Practice in pairs, using the words above: (eyes /ears /noses /mouths

/arms /hands /fingers /legs /feet)

···What is it? What are they?

···It is__________. They are__________. ···What can you do with it or them?

···I can see /hear /walk /eat …with . Encourage the class to keep practicing speaking English, use the

new words (camera, robot, elbow, neck…) in the classroom.

13. 教学反思

这节课学习了有关身体部位的名称和表达情感体验的词。有些词是学生在小学阶段学习过的。学生积极参与,课堂活动有师生对话、小组练习、表演展示等多种形式,教学直观、形象、生动活波。学生能完成教学目标。取得了较好的教学效果。

留有遗憾的是,时间安排上,最后阶段的课件展示时间稍显仓促。
