Abstract

This article discusses the sulfuric acid production plant processes and construction of importance. This paper describes the use of Aspen Plus process simulation software to simulate the main device, and the entire process was simulated, the entire process has been the material balance and energy balance. Burning sulfur section is the focus of this study, this paper presents the sulfur burning furnace body size calculation method and process, and the burning of sulfur furnace designed in detail. In addition, this paper conducted a selection of major equipment, burning sulfur section describes the equipment layout and piping design, and the section of the DCS control system.
