一 主语subject 是句子所述说的主体。可以作主语的有名词、代词、数词、词组、to do、-ing 、–ed和句子。
1、名词、代词、数词、词组作主语 A boy was standing at the school gate. He is my classmate. Three and four makes seven. How many people reached the top of the mountain ? 2、to do 作主语
To improve English needs a lot of time. To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive. 3、-ing作主语
Failing to plan is planning to fail. 4、-ed作主语
Her beloved died in the war. The accused was sentenced to death 5、从句做主语
What is done cannot be undone. How they will solve the problem remains to be seen. 二 谓语predicate是表述主语动作或状态的成分,总是由动词或动词短语担任.
We have been working on this project for ten years. Don’t disturb her. She is trying to write her paper.
She might not agree to this plan. I will call on you tomorrow. 三 表语predicative主要表述主语的特征、状态、身份等。表语位于连系动词之后,与之构成系表结构。作表语的有名词、代词、数词、形容词、副词、介词短语、词组、to do、 –ing、- ed和从句等。
1、名词、代词、数词、形容词、副词作表语 He is a student. Who is that? It’s me. She is forty. She is pretty. When will he be back? 2 介词短语作表语
The next morning he was out of danger. 3 词组作表语
The box is twice the size of the books. 4 to do作表语
The first lesson was to teach the child how to write his name. 5-ing作表语 The result was encouraging 6 -ed 作表语 Is the meat rotten? 7 从句作表语
This is why they are late for the meeting. The question is how we avoid making the same mistakes. 连系动词有be 、get、go become、turn、 grow、 fall(变得)、remain(仍旧是)stay、feel (摸起来)sound(听起来)、 taste(尝起来)、smell(闻起来)、 look、 seem、 appear(看起来,似乎)
四 宾语object是及物动词后的一个成分,表示动作的对象、承受者或结果。可作宾语的有名词、代词、数词、名词化的形容词、to do 、-ing和从句。 I bought a book. Would you like something to eat? They fired one–third of their employees this year. We should respect the old and care for the young. 2 to do 作宾语
I expect to spend the holidays in France this year. 3-ing作宾语
I love going on walks and looking at plants. 4从句作宾语
We seldom realize that many plants actually come from countries far away. 有一些动词常跟两个宾语,即直接宾语和间接宾语.宾语的位置一般在动词的后面,而间接宾语通常在直接宾语的前面. He gave me(间接宾语)a book. He gave a book to me. 五 宾语补足语object complement是补充宾语的成分,常放在宾语的后面.可以作宾语补足语的有名词、形容词、副词、介词短语、to do ,–ing 和-ed。 名词形容词副词作宾语补足语 They appointed me chairman. She said the noise made her mad. I’ll ask her out tomorrow evening. 2介词短语作宾语补足语
His speech left the president in a very difficult position. 3 to do 作宾语补足语
They asked me to tell you the news 4 -ing作宾语补足语
I can hear someone coming. 5 -ed作宾语补足语
She is going to have the novel translated. They appointed him chairman( 宾语补足语). He was appointed chairman(主语补足语). 六 定语attribute用来修饰名词或代词,可作定语的有形容词、代词、数词、介词短语、to do 、-ing 、-ed或从句.
This is a difficult problem.This is his recorder. I have three TV sets. The book on the desk is mine.I have something to tell you. There is a swimming pool over there. Polluted water was to blame. This is the school that they visited yesterday 七 状语adverbial用来修饰动词、形容词、副词或整个句子.可作状语的有副词、介词短
语、to do -ing 、-ed或从句. He ran fast.. He lived in China after the Second World War . He got up early in order to catch the first bus. His father died ,leaving nothing to him. Hearing the news, she burst into tears. Seen from the mountain, the city looks more beautiful.
Cholera was defeated after the cause was found. 同位语对前面的名词或动词做进一步的解释,常用名词,数词,代词或从句担任. This is Mr.Zhou, our headmaster. They two wanted to see you. We all went home by bus. The news that we are having a holiday tomorrow is not true. 简单句的基本句型
1. 主语+连系动词+表语 We are students.
You look beautiful. Leaves turned yellow. 2 .主语+不及物动词
She sings well. The book sells like hot cakes. Great changes have taken place. 3 .主语+及物动词+宾语
They start their work at 8:30. They want to see the film. 4. 主语+及物动词+间接宾语+直接宾语
They gave me the book.变为被动语态 The book was given to me. I was given the book. 5.主语+及物动词+宾语+宾语补足语( adj., adv. n., to do, prep. -ing , 从句) I found the book useful. I found him sitting at the back of the classroom. Please make yourself at home. We make it a rule to get to school at seven.it是形式宾语, to get to school at seven是真正的宾语 Translate the following sentences into English 1.他们正在吃早餐。
