新时代交互英语体现了最新大学英语教学的指导思想，即强调培养学生的英语听说能力，以及读写译英语综合应用能力，适应立体化、网络化、个性化英语教学和学习的实际需要。
新时代交互英语无论是主要基于计算机网络课程的《视听说》系列，还是主要基于课堂教学的《读写译》系列，其内容都充分体现个性化，考虑不同起点的学生，既照顾起点较低的学生，又给基础较好的学生以充分发展的空间。
新时代交互英语体现了最新大学英语教学的指导思想，即强调培养学生的英语听说能力，以及读写译英语综合应用能力，适应立体化、网络化、个性化英语教学和学习的实际需要。 教学目标
1、词汇：在原有基础上领会式掌握1400词以上，并且具有进一步的按构词法识别单词的能力，如根据词缀猜测词义，词性，甚至构新词。
2、阅读：能读懂国内英文报刊及一般性题材的英文文章，能读懂工作、生活常见的应用文，阅读速度要达到每分钟80字以上，能够在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法，如猜词义，查读，略读，推断逻辑关系等。
3、听力：能听懂英语授课，日常英语谈话，能基本听懂慢速英语节目，听懂一般性题材英语讲座，语速为每分钟70词左右，能抓住要点和有关细节，掌握中心大意。
4、口语：能在学习过程中用英语交流，能就某一主题进行讨论，辩论，能就日常话题和英语国家的人士进行交谈，表达清楚，语音、语调基本正确。
5、写作：能完成一般性写作任务，能描述个人经历、观感、情感和发生的事件等，能写常见的应用文，能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出150词以上的短文，内容基本完整，用词恰当，语意连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。
6、翻译：能借助词典翻译一般英语国家报刊上题材熟悉的文章，译文基本通顺，达意，无重大理解和语言错误。 课程内容
