客户继续各种吐槽,最后说:we need more respect. You should do something to improve the situation.

那时候,已经晚上9点钟了,我还在办公室里加班。心情有些烦闷,于是很快回复他: You deserve respect while we need more understanding. We've worked for one years and you are clear such hand-made products need more labor time. It's really upset for us to make urgent order. The work need to be arranged in advance.

客户回复了邮件,

You are right, I will talk with my client to place order in advance for future orders. But this time, my client really need goods urgently. So pls make the first 20ft container in 20days ok ?

在给客户写交期要延迟的邮件时,最好第一句话就要开门见山,不要绕了大弯子最后才说要延迟交货,中国人和老外的思维很多时候是逆向的。你觉得是委婉,老外觉得是 so much craps.

你可以这样开头:We are sorry to inform you that we are not able to finish them until Aug 20th.(新的交货期), we apologize for this inconvenience caused by this.

不能只告诉客户,交货期赶不上,有的客户不喜欢模糊的时间,他会反过来问你 what's the exact time??

我们先来看一个小例子,
