1. Purpose:
To standardize technical transfer operation from Head Office (Gemtek Technology) to KS/SZ, and to
clearly define relevant unit responsibility respectively so as to ensure successful transfer of new
models.
2. Scope:
Applies to all models that are transferred from Head Office but never produced in KS/SZ.
3. Definition:
3.1 Gemtek: Head Office of Gemtek Technology 3.2 KS: Gemtek KS 3.3 SZ: Gemtek SZ
4. Authority/ Responsibility:
4.1 Gemtek PM: As the contact window of Head Office, responsible for coordinating internal issues
concerning relevant documents/ technique transfer and schedule control.
4.2 Gemtek DCC: Responsible for issuing relevant documents needed by model transfer to KS/SZ DCC.
4.3 Gemtek MMD: Responsible for material transfer schedule and document application for KS/SZ
4.4 Gemtek Production Technology Section: Responsible for transfer operation of models that have
been mass produced in Gemtek, including assisting test equipment setup in KS/SZ, solving abnormalities in PVT, receiving PVT Report
from PM (Gemtek), confirming PVT results and feeding back to PM (Gemtek).
4.5 Gemtek ET Dept.: Responsible for transfer operation of models that have PVT but not mass
produced in Gemtek or that never have been mass produced in Gemtek,
including assisting test equipment installation in KS/SZ, solving abnormalities in PVT, receiving PVT Report from PM (Gemtek), confirming PVT results and feeding back to PM (Gemtek).
4.6 Gemtek R&D Dept.: Responsible for EVT operation of new models in KS/SZ, including assisting
test equipment installation in KS/SZ, solving abnormalities in PVT, receiving
PVT Report from PM (Gemtek), confirming PVT results and feeding back to

4.7 Gemtek IE of MFG: Responsible for throughput evaluation and production/test equipment transfer 4.8 KS/SZ Sales (PM): As contact window of KS/SZ, responsible for coordinating internal issues
concerning relevant documents/ technique receipt and schedule control. 4.9 KS/SZ DCC: Responsible for receiving relevant documents from Gemtek DCC for transferred
models.
4.10 KS/SZ Engineering Dept.: Responsible for setting up test equipments, confirming packing
material design, approving sample and providing PM KS/SZ with PVT Report and
*.LOG files recorded after test in SFCS and Program.
5.
