2.1 DOME LAMP RELAY CONTROL

Function Specification E&E Department EC Team Dome Light Control: ? DOME LIGHT will turn ON if any door is open (4 DOOR AJAR active) (T1).
? DOME LIGHT will turn OFF if any door is kept opened for 15mins.
? After all doors are closed AND IGN is OFF, the DOME LIGHT will stay ON for an additional time 8s (T2),
THEN a dimming process is started lasting for 2s (T3). After T3 DOME LIGHT is switched OFF.
? IF IGN is turned ON during these additional time periods (T2、T4 or T5), the DOME LIGHT will turn OFF
immediately.
? IF IGN is ON, whilst any DOOR AJAR input is active, the DOME LIGHT will turn OFF immediately without
any delay when all DOOR AJAR inputs are deactivated.

RF Dome Light Control:
? When all doors are closed AND dome light is ON, RF Lock button press will turn OFF the dome light
immediately.
? IF RF unlock button is pressed, dome light will turn ON for 8s followed by 2s of decay and finally turn OFF.
? Only car is closed and locked by RF (It means in the arming mode), then the RF Unlock button will turn on the
dome light immediately.

Function Specification E&E Department EC Team 2.2 KEY ILLUMINATION
Key Illumination Control:
? IF FL DOOR AJAR is active (Driver door open) AND IGN is OFF, THEN IGN KEY ILLUM output is
activated (Key illumination Lamp turn ON) for the duration this condition is true.
? IF FL DOOR AJAR is inactive (Driver door close) after IGN KEY ILLUM output has been activated, it will be
kept active for a further T1.
? IF IGN goes ON during this time, IGN KEY ILLUM output is deactivated immediately (T2).
? IF IGN is ON, whilst FL DOOR AJAR is still active, the IGN KEY ILLUM output will turn OFF immediately
(No delay).
? IF Driver door remains open for a period exceeding 3 minutes, Key Illumination Lamp will goes off with
decay.
