My Dormitory life
I share the same dormitory with other 3 classmates at present. Although coming from different parts of Fujian Province, we get along well with each other. I enjoy the warm and happy dormitory life.
First of all, my dormitory is a 30m2or so room with a bathroom, a washroom and a balcony. What deserves to be mentioned is that just at this semester our bathroom equipped a water heater. Obviously, it makes our life much more convenient. In the normal studying days, we spend most time preparing for courses in dormitory. We usually discuss the problems and try to find the correct solutions. Each one has her own habits and regular time to do something. Therefore, we seldom collide with each other in time. Taking shower, washing clothes and other such things keep going orderly. Life is full of comity and understanding. Except these normal living activities, we also have our special features. We dine together twice a week. We buy fresh food in early morning at the local market and cook by ourselves. I have to say that none of us are really good at cooking, but we surely enjoy this family-like atmosphere. Although the soup were to be too salty, or the noodle were to be sticky, all of us feel extremely happy and great satisfactory. Another particular occasion in my dormitory is that we have an English Corner each night between 22:30-23:30. During this period we change different ideas about anything around us. Undoubtedly, we can not only improve our spoken English, but also enhance mutual understanding among us.
