My plan for English Learning in this term
Dear Prof. Huang, it is my honor to be your student. I knew that English has been more and moreimportant both in our daily life and scientific research. But my English ability is not enough. Reading English scientific literature is one of the biggest difficult during my study now. So I can`t wait to improve my Englishand my plan as follows:
Firstly,I will spend half an hour in listening English every night so as to improve my listening ability.The content will be the New Concept English 3. Secondly, every morningbefore starting my work, I will read the text which I had listened the night before. Thirdly, buy an original foreign textbook such as “Quantum Chemistry”, and finish reading it at the end of this term. Also, the English textbook is essential to my learning, I will try my best to study it. Fourthly, writing ability is necessary for graduate student.But due to the lack of practice which results in large number of mistake or I even can`t write a word during a very long time. So I decided to write the article from memory every evening. And the article will be the one which I had read in the morning. Finally is the ability of translate. It`s also very important for graduate student. So during the daily research，I would pay more attention to translate the foreign literature.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with single step. Maybe someday I would be grateful to myself for what I am struggling now.
