5. PROCESS AND TOOLS BAE Systems/Lockheed Martin uses Active Risk Manager (ARM) as their primary risk management tool. The WFAS team will not be an active user of this tool, but will provide data to BAE Systems/Lockheed Martin via the risk workbooks that are configured to feed input data directly into ARM. In turn, ARM will generate risk waterfall charts and risk summaries that will be transmitted back to Moog.
The WFAS team uses the following computer-based tools to carry out this Risk Management Plan: 5.1
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Excel will be used to track and maintain the worry list. In addition Excel is used to create Risk Workbooks for each Moderate or High Risk, using the tailored templates presented in Appendix B. 5.2
Microsoft Project
Microsoft Project is the tool in which the program Program Master Schedule and detail schedules resides and thus contains the risk mitigation schedules. All Risk Mitigation Steps that appear in the Risk Mitigation Plans will be contained in these schedules. The appropriate schedule line number can be found in the Detailed Planning Ref # field in the Risk Workbooks and in ARM.
