学习者为三年级学生,求知欲、好奇心都很强,对新知识与新事物接受起来容易,喜欢比赛游戏教学。在上个单元学生已经接触A cat has fur, paws and a tail.这个句型,而且也知道了几种动物的特征如:wing、feathers、beak、fur、 paws 和tail等,这有利于新知与旧知的融合联系。
学习内容分析:
这一课学生将接触到四种这样的动物,tiger、 elephant、 kangaroo、camel,以及这四种动物的特征stripe、trunk、 pouch、hump,并且涉及到的句型What animal has? A(an)____ has (a) _____.句型需要通过大量的练习让学生达到熟练运用的目的,并且与旧知识结合起来,利用这一句型进行更多的对话。 二、教学目标
知识技能目标:
使学生能够听说读写单词tiger, elephant, kangaroo, camel,及动物特征单词stripe, trunk, pouch, hump
能区分a/an的用法
听懂并会运用What animal has? A(an)____ has (a) _____.对动物特征进行描述讨论。 学习策略目标:
学生在老师创设的情境下进行各种小组活动:小组内对话练习;全班两大组进行比赛。让学生用所学英语进行表达和交流。 情感态度目标:

T: well,let’s play a game.
Step II New concepts 一、1. tiger
T: There is an animal has four legs, too. But it’s shy, let’s listen to its sounds.(播放老虎叫声)
T: Right. Tiger.(领读几遍纠正学生发音,并找学生试读) Ss:Tiger.
T: Boys and girls. Let’s look. A tiger has four strong legs, four paws and many many stripes.(边说边指着相应部位)
T: stripes(领读几遍纠正学生发音,并找学生试读) Ss: stripes
T: Do you have stripes?(走向一位学生) S1:No
T: What animal has stripes? Ss: A tiger has stripes.
T: Do you know other animal who has stripes? Ss:A cat has stripes.
T:look,a zebra has stripes, too. 【设计意图】
通过声音引出新授词tiger, 并通过总结发音规则让学生体会元音字母i的发音。拓展斑马丰富学生头脑,提高学生学生学习英语的兴趣。 2. elephant

用声音引出大象的声音,总结发音规则让学生掌握单词发音. 3. kangaroo
T:Let’s look at the third animal. Guess,what is it?(出示袋鼠图片)
Ss:袋鼠。Kangaroo.
T : A kangaroo has a long tail and a pouch.(手指pouch说)。Pouch Ss:pouch(跟读)
T:Do you have a pouch? Ss: No.
T: What animal has a pouch? Ss: A kangaroo has a pouch. 4. camel
T:Let’s look at the fourth animal. Guess,what is it?(出示骆驼图片) Ss:骆驼。Kangaroo.
T:It’s a camel. Camel(领读,找学生自己读) Ss: camel
T : A camel has four long legs and two humps.(手指hump说)。humps Ss:humps(跟读)
T: How many humps does a camel have? Ss: Two.
T:Do you have humps? Ss: No.

1.Answer questions
利用身体个部分的词语卡片及动物卡片,提问:What animal has a ? 让学生手持卡片回答。利用老单词进行以旧带新的练习,同时将卡片贴在黑板上。
尝试由学生来提问,学生做回答。 2. 小组之内练习。 3.小组展示
Provide eight parts picture of animals’, encourage students talk in their group. Then choose one number to talk. 【设计意图】
将本课的四个新学单词和以前学过的动物身体部位放在一起,让学生用What animal has…? A …has …进行问答,并在展示时通过任意选择数字的发法,更激发了学生想说的欲望与挑战力。 4. Read and Judge
