In Britain, some people say they will do anything if a famous person they love asks them to. One in three people in Britain have a new kind of illness --- They love a famous person too much. A marathon is 42 kilometers long. It is the longest race in the world. To make the runner’s body work, harder training is quite necessary. A runner should start to prepare for a marathon at least three months before. Preparation may have races, many hours of running at different speeds and changes in diet. During the training time the runner must eat a fit diet. The diet should have lots of things needed in training the players.
In the early days of training, runners run 80 kilometers per week. They should increase the running every two or three weeks and at least they need two long runs per week. Two weeks before the marathon, the training program becomes less, from 100 kilometers per week down to 60 kilometers and then to 30 kilometers in the final week. On the last two days they may not run at all.

Junko was born in 1939 and grew up in a small town in Japan. During her childhood, she was thin and weak. At the age of 10, Junko went on a school trip. The students climbed two mountains, and Junko loved it. She could climb in her own time and ability.
In 1962, Junko joined several climbing clubs. But they had mostly men members. Some refused (拒绝) to climb with a woman. In 1965, Junko married a well-known Japanese climber. Over the years, they climbed all the highest mountains of Japan.
Meanwhile (同时) Junko started a woman’s climbing club. In 1972, she began to lead a team of women to climb Mount Everest. It took three years for the 15 women to train and raise money for their climb.
