On March 1, an English speech contest was held in our city. 36 students from 15 schools took part in the contest consisting of three rounds: an English speech, answering the questions raised by the judges and a talent show.
Every student made an excellent speech in English, whose theme is about “The Beauty of My Hometown”. When they answered the questions, they felt confident. In the talent show, colorful performances given by them were more than attractive. Undoubtedly, the contest is a big success.
Through the activity, the students have learnt a lot. Not only have they improved their spoken English, but they also have gained a sense of achievement. The students from different schools appreciate each other and develop solid friendship.
