Step 1 Warm-up 1. Greet the students as usual. 2. Ask one student to recite the dialogue. Step 2 Revision 1. Review the dialogues we learned last week. 2. Ask some pairs to act out the dialogues. Step 3 Presentation Learn the new dialogues. Dialogue 2 P: (in a seating car) Excuse me, sir. I can’t find my seat. Would you please show me to my seat? C: Certainly. Your seat number, please. P: It is 65. C: Seat No. 65 is in the 10th row back from the other end on the right. Watch your step, madam. Learn professional words and expressions (1) compartment (2) compartment number (3) upper berth (4) middle berth (5) lower berth (6) berth number (7) berth tag (8) to change berth tag for ticket (9) bed-clothes (10) window shade Step 4 Practise 1. Get the pupils into groups to practise the dialogue, one acts the conductor, the other acts the passenger, they can use some useful sentences learned before. 2. Ask the pupils to act out their dialogues. Step 5 Homework 1. Review the words and sentences of the dialogue. 2. Read the dialogue until recite.
