动词的时态（三）——将来时
Verb Tenses (III)— Future Tense1一般将来时
一般将来时由“shall/will+动词原形”构成，shall只用于第一人称，will可用于所有人称。其具体用法如下： （1）表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态，经常和tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next day(week, month, year …)等表示将来的时间状语连用。例如： We shall (will) not be free tonight.我们今天晚上没有时间。 She will be nineteen years old next month.她下个月就19岁了。
（2）表示将来经常或反复发生的动作及一种倾向性的动作。例如： We will come to see you every Sunday.每个星期天我们都会来看你。 We will die without air and water.没有空气和水我们就会死。
（3）be going to+动词原形：只表示主观上打算和计划要做的事，表示很近的将来要发生的事。例如：
He is going to spend his holiday in Guilin this summer vacation.他打算在暑假时去桂林。 There is going to be a meeting this afternoon.今天下午有个会。 （4）be+动词不定式：只表示按计划和安排要发生的事。例如： I am to see Mr. Brown off this afternoon.我今天下午要去送布朗先生。

（5）某些动词，如come, go, start, leave 等，可以用一般现在时表示按计划的将来或时刻表要发生的动作。例如：

2. 过去将来时
过去将来时由“should/would+动词原形”构成，should只用于第一人称，would可用于所有人称。其具体用法如下：
（1）表示从过去的某一个时间看将来要发生的动作或状态。例如： He said he would go to Shanghai for the holiday.他说他要到上海去度假。 I thought they would try again.我以为他们会再试一次。
（2）was/were going to+动词原形：表示过去主观上曾经打算或准备要做的动作，也表示过去的将来要发生的或很可能发生的动作。例如：
He told us that he was going to spend his holiday in Guilin this summer vacation. 他告诉我们他打算在暑假时去桂林。
He said he was going to try again.他说他准备再试试。
（3）was/were+动词不定式：表示过去即将发生的动作。例如：
We were to finish the job in three hours.我们准备3个小时完成这个工作。 I was about to go out when a friend came in.我刚要出去，来了个朋友。
3. 将来进行时
将来进行时由“shall/will be+动词的现在分词”构成。其具体用法如下： （1）表示将来某个时刻或某个时间段正在进行的动作。例如：
We shall be having a meeting this afternoon.今天下午我们将一直开会。
I wonder what he will be doing at this time tomorrow.我不知道明天的这个时候他会在做什么。 （2）表示按计划或安排不久要发生的动作。例如： I will be meeting you at the airport.我将在机场接你。
4. 将来完成时
将来完成时由“shall/will have+动词的过去分词”构成。其用法为：表示未来某个时间点或未来某个动作之前将会完成的动作。例如：
By next May he will have lived here for six years.到明年5月，他就在此地住满6年了。
I shall have finished the book when you come next time. 下次你来时，我就已经把这本书完成了。
