Finish by eliciting and writing the key events on the Bb. Ask Ss to read the profiles. Ask Ss to consider which people they think are the most suspicious. Elicit ideas as a class and write any difficult or new vocabulary on the Bb. Pair work: Have Ss work in pairs to discuss who they think might have committed the crime. Remind Ss to use the useful expressions for possibility and impossibility and to refer to the model conversation. Play the recording.
