At the listening lesson， we watched the movie Stay. The movie was difficult to understand at the beginning. If you finished, you would find it is easy to understand.
Henry was a young man coming through the 21st birthday, he was ready to going to ring to propose to his girlfriend on that day, and with the original relations with parents together. The car accident happened, his parents and girlfriend died on the spot, Henry is wounded dying. He feltguilt because he thought that his girlfriend and his parents' death were his fault. So he chose to stay and created a dream to make up for his negligence, and to get rid of his guilt. This dream is what we saw in beginning of the movie. And the people whosurrounded by him is all in his dream.When Henry suicide in the dream, his life in the real world come to the end. And he finally got rid of guilt and died.
In one word, this movie is an excellent movie. The movie tells us that sometimes we can’t distinguish real life and dream, and we can’t make decisions due to others’ words. No matter what they say,we should depend on ourselves, living without guilt.
